Red Sun Aromatherapy uses a combination of fragrance and essential oils to promote health and well-being. The different scents react with us and improves the mind, body and soul. There are many different oils that can be used to acquire the desired feelings or mood. We try our best to blend frangrances that either opens the customer to a positive space, or create a nostalgic feeling of peace.

Soy wax is a safe base when making candles. It does not emit any petro-soot, compared to other waxes like parafin wax.

Majority of candles today are made from vegetable-based waxes, including ours at Red Sun Aromatherapy. Soy wax comes from soy beans. It is a natural and renewable resource. It can also be cleaned with just soap and water.

We recommend burning the candle for 4 hours, or until the melt pool reaches the width of the jar. Burning for more than 4 hours is considered a Power Burn. This can be dangerous and is only done during the sample or testing stages. We do not recommend it to customers.

Soy wax candles tend to last longer than your average paraffin wax candles. Soy has a lower melting point and burns longer. You can expect your candle to last up to 40 hours if burning properly.

Soy wax candles are one of the subtler candles when it comes to fragrances. Unfortunately, in order to have a stronger throw we would have to blend waxes, which would not make the candles as eco friendly as we'd like. Additionally, there is a maximum amount of fragrance that can be added to the wax in order to burn properly.

Yes! There are no phthalates in our candles. We try to source from companies that as just as environmentally aware as we are. Phthalates are chemical compounds used in products that has a high demand in performance and durability. Exposure to these chemicals can affect the hormone system in the body. Our candles are made from materials that are eco friendly and biodegradable and do not pose any risk to our customers or the environment.
